Infant Sports Day 2011

The Manchester weather was very unkind to the Infant girls this year and both attempts at Infant Sports Day on the school field were rained off!

We therefore decided to use the Sports Hall in the Senior School for our events. The girls were highly delighted to be able to participate in their chosen races and the Sports Hall proved to be an ideal venue. (No worms….)

The children enjoyed sprint, skipping, quoit balancing, potato and spoon and dressing up races. The teachers even held a short race to show how to use the lane layout in the hall!

The girls showed great team support with enthusiastic clapping and they all tried very hard.  Everyone had a super time and the girls were pleased not to miss their Sports Day.
